Come prepared to download some new apps, learn about your options, and we’ll throw in some tips on cool spots and restaurants around Tacoma! Financial Aid & Paying for Life in College: We will give an overview of Student Financial Services, Financial Aid, Important information about student loans, how to maintain eligibility for your financial aid, and scholarship links. Health Professions Advising at Puget Sound: Preparing for your Journey as a Pre-Health Student: Health Professions Advising (HPA) supports ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú students in preparing for and applying to health-related professional programs. Our goal is to help individuals reach their full potential as strong applicants and future healthcare professionals. This session will discuss the services provided by HPA and how incoming students can get a head start on their pre-health journey. Spiritual Explorations at Puget Sound: This is a chance for students from any, all, or no particular spiritual background to learn more about the wide range of ways you can explore various types of spiritual and religious practice on or off campus. Whether you want to explore different belief systems or spiritual practices, wrestle with how you want to grow in your own faith tradition, or find ways to engage concepts of belief/faith/practice in general, come meet some of our student and staff leaders who help this happen at Puget Sound! Start Now, Freak Out Less Later: The realest advice you'll get all week– because building your career clarity now means you'll have more confidence, more opportunities, and less stress later. Join Career and Employment Services (CES) to learn what you should be doing now as a first-year student. Student Technology Services: The Technology Services department provides technical expertise, leadership, and support of campus computing, curriculum, multimedia, and technology. This session aims to help students learn about the technology used on campus, how to connect to Wi-Fi, and provide you with technical resources you can access throughout your academic career.
