05/02/2025

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Your current Logger ID card will soon be replaced by a new proximity card. With this upgrade, you’ll simply tap or wave your card at the reader for entry—no more swiping!

Card Pickup Instructions

  • Pick up your new Logger ID card: Faculty members can begin picking up their cards today, May 2, 2025, while staff can start picking up their cards on May 12, 2025. Cards are available at the Dining & Event Services office located in Wheelock Student Center, Room 240. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:40 p.m.
  • Transition Period (May 19–May 30): If you are on campus during this time, please carry both your old and new cards, as some doors may still require your old card until all readers are upgraded.
  • After June 1: Only your new proximity card will work for building access. Please pick up your new card as soon as possible to avoid disruptions.
  • Returning Later? If you won’t be back until late summer or fall, you can pick up your new card from DES when you return.
  • Photo Update: If your Logger Card photo is over eight years old or you’d like to update it, submit a new photo using the Logger Card Submission Form. Please follow the photo guidelines on the page, including using a light, neutral background and a forward-facing image of your head and shoulders. Allow at least one business day after submission before picking up your new card. Photos can also be taken in person at the Logger Card office, but online submissions are encouraged for convenience
