Keyboard Series: Bethel Schneebeck Organ Recital

Add to Calendar 2025-09-05 12:00:00 2025-09-01 03:13:13 Keyboard Series: Bethel Schneebeck Organ Recital The School of Music is pleased to present this year's Bethel Schneebeck Organ Series featuring American concert organist Wyatt Smith.  Mrs. Schneebeck, Puget Sound parent, grandparent, and friend, was a long-time community leader along with her husband, Ed Schneebeck. She was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Arts degree in 1982, and in 1989, the Fritts organ in Kilworth Memorial Chapel was dedicated and named for Mrs. Schneebeck. This concert is presented as part of the School of Music Keyboard Series, and is free and open to the public. He maintains an active concert schedule, performing throughout the United States and Europe, and his performances have been heard on American Public Media’s Pipedreams. Smith received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in organ performance from the University of Washington; his Master of Music degree from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Dakota.  He serves as the associate director of music at Epiphany Parish of Seattle; director of the Epiphany Music Academy; and affiliate artist in organ and harpsichord at the .
