TACOMA, Wash. – Professor Mike Veseth ’72 is interviewed by the award-winning CNN and ABC journalist Christiane Amanpour in a video currently online on the ABC News and Yahoo! News websites.

Veseth, professor of international political economy and author of blog, appeared in Amanpour’s global news video series

The story, titled “Global Fine Wine Market: Follow the Money to China,” covers the rise of China as an new player in the international fine wine market and exposes some of the idiosyncrasies of Chinese wine, as well as the growing sophistication of the Chinese wine consumer.

Veseth, who has taught popular courses at Puget Sound including The Beautiful Game and The Idea of Wine, is the author of many books including (2011) and (2010).
