In spring 2025, Academic Advising's Peer Advisors hosted 36 separate Registration Planning Meetings (RPM) to ensure that our first-year students and newest transfer students had individualized support to get registered for fall classes.
Incoming first-year students have he benefit of registering for classes before arriving on campus in August. Tentative course schedules are created from the information you share in your Advising Placement Questionnaire (APQ), so please take your time and think clearly when completing your APQ! On Aug. 25 or 26 of Passages, you then meet your faculty and peer advisor to review this schedule and make any necessary adjustments. Advisors will check to ensure you are in courses that meet requirements and get you on track with the courses needed for any major or minor you may already be thinking of.
