The Princeton Review editors praise the university for its small class sizes and experiential learning opportunities. Some of the students surveyed commented that the university provides students with 鈥渁n amazing support system鈥 and truly strives to 鈥渉elp them [meet] their goal[s] in whatever capacity necessary.鈥
At Puget Sound, students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. From studying abroad to summer research, internships, and community-based learning, numerous avenues for learning and growth are available. In fact, experiential learning is a requirement for students to graduate.
It鈥檚 also worth noting that this isn鈥檛 the first time The Princeton Review has. The University has recently been honored as Best Value College, Best College in the West, Best Athletic Facilities (#21), Best College Radio Station (#5), and Most Beautiful Campus (#20), to name a few.
The Princeton Review does not rank the colleges in the book hierarchically, from 1 to 389. However, the book has 50 categories of ranking lists. Each list names the top 25 schools (of those in the book) in its category. The ranking lists are based on The Princeton Review鈥檚 surveys of 165,000 students at the 389 schools in the book. The company鈥檚 85-question student survey asked students to rate their colleges on dozens of topics and report on their campus experiences at them. Information on the student survey process and methodology for the ranking lists is on The Princeton Review鈥檚 website.
