The university has established a summer research program for undergraduates in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The program offers students the opportunity to engage in independent research during the summer. With the support of a faculty mentor, students in Greek, Latin, and Ancient Mediterranean Studies may apply for these awards. Stipends of $3,250 and $3,750 are awarded on a competitive basis to students who demonstrate research interest and ability.
