The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council is a network of alumni volunteers committed to supporting the students, faculty, and fellow alumni of our alma mater. The mission of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council is to engage alumni and students in lifelong relationships with the university and with one another. Through our various working committees, the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council engages volunteers in meaningful work that addresses issues of key importance to members of the Puget Sound community. As Puget Sound volunteer leaders, council members, by power of their example, encourage Puget Sound alumni to support the university through investments of time, talent, and financial resources.

Digital Engagement & Communications Committee Chair

Digital Engagement & Communications Committee

The Digital Engagement & Communications Committee leads the execution of the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council’s communications strategies and its core philosophies. The committee works to raise awareness of and promote the importance of the ACEC and the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council among the Logger alumni and university community. Additionally, the group proves leadership and advice on the digital alumni experience, examining the role of traditional engagement and digital engagement within broader alumni relations programming.

Future & Young ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Committee

This committee is charged with bolstering the student-to-alum experience arc at Puget Sound. It focuses on creating connections between current students and alumni through programming and mentorship. This group serves to implement a comprehensive plan to build awareness among students of their identity as future alumni, and to introduce students to the alumni community, and the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú Council. Made of up young alumni (0-5 years out) and student members, this committee leads the charge in developing and nurturing a consciousness among students of engagement, so that they are more likely to be engaged as alumni. The committee would be co-chaired by a recent graduate and the Maroon Society president. At the committee level will sit six additional current student leaders: Maroon Society Vice President, and a Maroon Society team lead, ASUPS Director of Clubs and Student Interests, ASUPS Vice President, ASUPS Junior Class Senator, and ASUPS Senior Class Senator. These six current students will be joined at the committee level by six recent graduates.
