Office of the ASUPS Vice President

The ASUPS Vice President serves as the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the internal operations. The Vice President sets policies for the carrying out of ASUPS operations; serves on the President鈥檚 Council; serves on the President鈥檚 Cabinet; serves as a voting member and the Chair Pro Tempore of the ASUPS Senate; supervises, recommends the use of, and guides the expenditures of all ASUPS funds; supervises all Interoffice Personnel; monitors the entire ASUPS Budget and Sub-budgets and the day-to-day expenditures; presents a monthly published financial statement to the ASUPS Senate; and performs any other such duties as may be delegated by the Constitution, Bylaws, or the ASUPS Senate.

ASUPS Vice President Archie A. Kerr '27

Office Hours:  Mon & Wed, 2 PM - 3 PM

Archie is thrilled to serve as the Vice President of the Student Body after completing his term as the 2024-2025 Director of Clubs and Student Interests. A two-time nominee and one-time winner of the Puget Sound Leadership Award, Archie is dedicated to student support on all levels: As Co-founder and former Treasurer for the Gender & Sexuality Alliance, Archie partnered in raising funds for the LGBTQ+ Student Leadership Scholarship. As the Director of Clubs, Archie prioritized transparency, honesty, and pragmatism in the management of Puget Sound's 85+ clubs and organizations. As the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ASUPS, Archie is determined to ensure an effective, equitable, and accessible student government that works for all Loggers.
